Lynn has over fourteen years of professional experience in public and private accounting. Her public accounting experience includes providing financial advisory, auditing, and consultation services to large complex global organizations including capital market transactions, capital market readiness activities, new accounting standard implementation, business combination transactions, foreign currency and consolidation matters, revenue recognition and lease considerations, and financial reporting.

Most recently, she was a leader for RSM’s Technical Accounting Consulting Capital Markets team. In this role, Lynn assisted clients in navigating the transformation from a private company to a company listed on a public stock exchange, including:

• the design and execution of the transformation workplan
• managing the uplift of AICPA financial statements to Regulation S-X compliant financial statements
• coordinating the various stakeholders to ensure appropriate levels of communication
• managing the drafting of other required documents (e.g., management’s discussion & analysis, Article 11 pro forma financial statements). 

In her most recent private accounting role prior to joining RSM, she was the Controller of a $450 million revenue construction company owned by an employee stock ownership plan. During this time Lynn was responsible for all aspects of the company’s financial reporting and analysis, technical accounting issues, banking, payroll, and management of the external auditor relationship. In Lynn's private accounting experience, she has established new domestic and international subsidiaries, created new entity processes to maintain compliance, and streamlined the month-end process to reduce the close schedule substantially.

Lynn has a passion for giving back to the community and has spent time volunteering in an eco-agriculture conservation program in Costa Rica and a sustainable agriculture improvement and economic development program in India.  In September 2021, Lynn launched Finn's Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit that provides targeted programs to prepare teenagers and young adults for lifelong financial success through effective financial education.

Daniel has over ten years of professional experience in public and private accounting.  His experience in public accounting includes providing auditing and consultation services to public and private entities in various industries including capital market transaction, capital market readiness activities, new accounting standard implementations, revenue recognition (ASC 606) and lease (ASC 842) considerations and financial reporting.  His experience in private accounting includes implementation of strategic finance platforms to centralize financial data from three systems, developing and implementing financial processes and strategies to improve the operations and cash flow of the company, developing and implementing accounting processes to accurately account for transactions.

Daniel enjoys teaching himself new skills and most recently has been focused on learning Python. He then takes these new skills and applies them to our ongoing projects.  He also enjoys spending time with his dogs - Ali and Scout.
